Classic breakfast spot. Vanilla iced coffee is unreal and unlike anything I've ever tasted before. They blend their cheese into their cheese grits instead of just putting it on top which I always appreciate. Great place, friendly service
5 stars for consistency and nostalgia alone. I've been coming to Beach Hut for brunch and breakfast for over 20 years. Sure, the place could use a little TLC, but honestly, I love that not much has changed. While I've had lunch here a couple of times, breakfast is where it's at for me. Grits, a bacon, egg, and cheese on Texas toast, and that little fruit garnish on the plate--it's the small details that make it special. One standout feature? When ordering a bacon, egg, and cheese, you can get it scrambled all together. It completely changes the vibe, and it's so good. Beach Hut isn't fancy by any means, but they welcome you like family, and the breakfast has always been delicious. The picnic-style tables, local art, and true Southern hospitality make this place feel like home.
The coffee flows and the food is delicious, great staff all in friendly, casual atmosphere that is fun to enjoy a meal in. Very quick service.
"Coffee is so good we even drink it ourselves on occasion" was the epithet on the wall welcoming us to Beach Hut Cafe. It was actually a second runner up choice from our first choice. It was very welcoming as we mosed up to the front counter and took our seats. All seats had a nook, beach bench vibes. There was no hostess so customers picked their own. It very busy place. Unfortunately the waitress touched the bread with thier hands. Everything was right in front of us. We did not miss a thing. Elizabeth, our waitress gave us time to order. Wifey had the breakfast special not picture. Two eggs, french toast or eggs, potatoes, grits and toast. It was a nice way to start our Saturday morning:)
We come here when we have family in town and want to eat but not cook. The food is always so delicious here, staff are friendly. Plenary of seating inside.
Solid cheeseburger for early lunch served with bagged chips. Restaurant was busy but tables were open. Had to wait for table to be cleaned and service was a little slow. Always worth a visit though.

Great little diner by the beach. Stopped here with a friend after a morning run for coffee and breakfast. The service was over the top great. Super, super friendly and quick! We both got the breakfast combo, and our waitress let me substitute grits for the meat since I don't eat sausage or bacon. Pancakes were fluffy, scrambled eggs were just ok, but the homefries were the star of the show. Extra crispy. You really can't beat the price. Both of our combos came with coffee and I think only cost $11 each. I would definitely go back!
